Closing to the End of Something Great

Over 6 months of hardcore work, and I'm finally nearing the end of my story I've been working so hard on. I've done great work on this thing, made it exactly as I wanted to, down to every little perfection. Once I'm finished with it, I'll have to decide if it's worthy of publishing. I don't think it is, but at least I feel accomplished sticking with this for so long. I feel great today, I feel like I've really gotten somewhere. This day has just been fantastic for me. I got to talk with my favorite friends, got the house to myself for a few hours, churned out my favorite music at the loudest I could get it, and got so much progress done on the story. School resumes tomorrow, but I'm hoping that these last 20 days of school go by quick. The sooner I get my story done the better. Then I'll just need to decide what to do afterwards. I might continue this series even further with a sequel, or maybe spend some time beefing up this single issue. Either way, I'm glad that I'm nearly finished with this story. I can't describe how much this thing means to me.
